For this wine label I did a lot of research on how to visualize “perchance”. I eventually found a piece of art very similar to what is on the label, and worked closely with the Creative Director to conceptualize this piece of art as representing “perfect timing”. We ended up working with the original artist to revamp this piece, and from that created this beautifully simple and luxurious label.
One of my big projects at STAR was working on the branding and upcoming launch of our newest curriculum, SOLER – a new social emotional model to support students who have social and behavioral challenges.
I created a variety of different flyers to showcase and promote our upcoming curriculum at conferences. This also included a box design, which was used to contain other promotional materials.
Another part of this process was designing icons to represent certain sections of activities. I took a playful approach to these by using more organic shapes, to keep the style tied into our soft and colorful branding, as well as easy on the eye and fun to look at for kiddos.
Liv: A new way of drinking. This low calorie, low alcohol wine specializes in being a healthier alternative to drinking wine. The goal here was have the label appear lively and bright, yet modern and elegant. My creative process for this project involved extensive research on possible illustrators/artists for the label, deciding on fonts/color palettes, and overall bringing the whole label together.
I was given the task to create a holiday card to send out to STAR Autism Support employees, and it was a super fun project. I designed some simple illustrations for this cute winter scene, keeping them in line with our branding/style while also creating something new and different from our usual illustrations.
A luxury wine so good it will silence you. For this project I art directed the layout and design of this wine label. This involved researching artwork to use, organizing the layout, deciding on typefaces, and developing creative ideas for the overall brand image.
My work for Navistar included creating website assets and flyers to promote their new rewards program. I learned about their brand image, and with that in mind kept a clean and sophisticated look with some pops of color to tie in the imagery.
For this project I worked with the owner of Positively Stamped, a mother and daughter stamping team. Together they create greeting cards for all occasions. Their positive and welcoming attitude is expressed with this bright and fun logo, which I designed. Along with this, I designed their business cards and assisted with their website design.
